Edinburgh International Book Festival Postcard

Inspired by this short piece of Prose by Ema:

"When the world stopped I had to hide away. Too risky to be out with my condition, would mean death if I strayed outside. It should have been scary, been boring but I had a plan and like all good plans they fall apart. What I thought I knew about how I worked best, structured, day full of tasks, 9-5, became an endless, timeless maze and when I found time again the world around me had changed, and the world I created each day, worked better for me than ever before. My life improved stepped by step, I worked to my own time and the world, for all of us, would never be the same again."

I focused on the maze imagery, creating a Minotaur character made of news headlines and articles from the height of the Covid-19 pandemic.
