Rocket-ing Out

This was created as part of a larger anthology of work centered on a music playlist and was the beginnings of a graphic novel!
The playlist features songs "Rocket" by Goldfrapp and Go! by Public Service Broadcasting as well as a few others, which tell the story of the character in the image.

Each different colourful texture was created using a gelli plate, acrylic paint and playing with stencils and paper forms. A smaller selection of these printed textures were then collaged together to create this image.
